Hinata

Shōyō Hinata

Shōyō Hinata is the main protagonist of the Haikyuu!! series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. He is a first year student at Kurasuno High School and joined the Volleyball team, becoming a middle blocker.

Hinata's dream is to become strong enough to spike past tall blockers just like the "Small Giant" once did. Like the Small Giant, he specializes in jumping to compensate his lack of height.

Sai

Kei Tsukishima

A member of the Karasuno High volleyball club, Tsukishima is very blunt and has a habit of riling people up (usually Hinata, Kageyama, and even his senpais Tanaka and Nishinoya). He dislikes “hot-blooded people” and doesn’t like to exert too much effort due to the past experiences of his older brother. Aside from others like Daichi, Sugawara, and Asahi, he has little to no respect for his other teammates and is shown to be quite irritated at having to be close to them.

Yū Nishinoya

Yū Nishinoya was a second-year student at Karasuno High School. He served as the libero for the school's volleyball team and was referred to by his teammates as "Karasuno's Guardian Deity" for his remarkable skills. After high school, Nishinoya retired from volleyball in favor of traveling the world.

Tadashi Yamaguchi

Tadashi Yamaguchi is a first year student at Karasuno High. He plays on the boys volleyball team as a middle blocker and pinch server. During his third year, he became the team captain. He is currently a college student and is planning to work for a home electronics company in Miyagi once he graduates.

Oikawa

Tōru Oikawa

Tōru Oikawa, he was a third year student at Aoba Johsai High, serving as the captain and setter for the school's boys' volleyball team. He obtained Argentinian citizenship and plays on the Argentina National team as the starting setter.

Taich Kawanishi

He doesn't talk to his teammates very often, and appears mostly emotionless, only looking annoyed on occasion

He is generally seen to be a competitive person, cheering every time he scores, and crying upon his team's loss to Karasuno. His upperclassmen have implied that Kawanishi is uncertain about himself or his abilities, with Ushijima telling him to gain more confidence moving forward, and Tendō noting that he doesn't go for aerial battles unless he knows he can win.

Eita Semi

Semi has thick and messy ash blonde hair with dark grey tips. His eyebrows are black, contrasting his hair

He appears serious and stoic, but is actually hot-headed and competitive; partially towards Shirabu, who had become the team's regular starting setter. Despite that, Semi acknowledges the strength and abilities of his teammates and those of his opponents. He also cares about his teammates and is occasionally sincere and nice. However, he does tend to show annoyance when Tendō calls him by his unwanted nickname Semi-Semi

Kenma Kozume

Kenma Kozume

Kenma has a very relaxed and laid back personality.

He hardly ever loses his cool, and he usually never gets excited about anything (with the exception of Hinata and video games). He is quiet and reserved and does not voice his opinions often since he is afraid of how others would think of them. He isn't the type who can make friends easily, and his only friend back when he was younger had been Tetsurou Kuroo. Despite his modest personality, Kenma is actually quite skilled in volleyball, with his extraordinary game sense and technique, which makes up for his power, speed, and stamina.

Tetsurō Kuroo is a third-year student at Nekoma

. He is the captain of the volleyball club and a talented middle blocker known for his 'read blocks'.

Kuroo is a playful and sly person, contrasting Kenma, Nekoma's setter, and his childhood friend. He

is nicknamed the 'scheming captain' because he is a clever strategist; he is also considered a

'provocation expert' because he enjoys teasing people lightheartedly. Despite his teasing, he is

shown to be kind and thoughtful and prioritizes good sportsmanship. .

Kageyama

Tobio Kageyama

Kageyama is a first year student at Karasuno High and one of the best setter in Japan.He isknown as the "King of the Court" by his teammates, referring to his dictatorial presence on the court.

He was a complete introvert and did not have much friends till he entered Karasuno High where he learned the real value of being a team.
